Virtue and a Sledgehammer will begin battering down the walls and android ghosts of a hometown filled with emotional memories this October

I dug The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood. It's a game about a fortune-telling witch on an asteroid who designs tarot cards and eventually gets sucked into politics. It also has its own special dildo. The devs behind it, Deconstructeam, are set to release their next game on October 27th. It's called Virtue and a Sledgehammer, and it's about revisiting your hometown to do a bit of trauma-laced DIY - if levelling the place counts as DIY.

Fly between radio outposts inside a murky megastructure in The Hollowing, a follow-up to the brilliant spelunking sim Lorn's Lure

I loved 2024's Lorn's Lure, the megastructure exploration game with the handsome climbing axes, but it took me a while to get the better of the whole "repeatedly falling and dying" element. I imagine a few megastructure lovers were deterred by this. Fine, says developer Rubeki, here's The Hollowing - another megastructure game set in the same narrative universe, but this time, with an airplane.

How to Force Quit Apple Watch Apps in watchOS 27

Prior to watchOS 27, force quitting apps on Apple Watch was done by swiping up on apps in the App Switcher screen, but that's no longer possible because the Digital Crown double-click gesture that got you there is now reserved for Apple's upcoming Live Rewind AI feature. Fortunately, there's still a way to force quit apps in watchOS 27. From the app you want to quit, press and hold the Side button until the sliders appear. Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 May Have Hidden Flash Storage

Apple is using a 128GB NAND flash die in Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 models, claims a Chinese hardware researcher, despite both devices officially offering only 64GB of storage. It's unclear why Apple would limit the accessible capacity, but it could conceivably be reserving some of it for intensive sensor data read/writes or as a durability buffer. Something similar happened with the M4 iPad Pro in 2024, when teardowns indicated that 8GB models actually contained 12GB of physical RAM, wit...
