BOE's Cracking Glass Problem Threatens OLED iPad Supply Plans

The Chinese display maker apparently only recently begun Apple's panel qualification process. According to the report, the manufacturing difficulties could either postpone orders or prevent BOE from securing them. A broken sheet of glass can leave production equipment unavailable for between half a day and a full day ...

Cut Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced epilogue scene, that could hint at fresh 18th century stabby hijinks, allegedly taken down by Ubisoft following datamine

Ubisoft appear to have copyright struck a YouTube video showing off an unused epilogue cutscene datamined from Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The unfinished scene reportedly features Edward Kenway chatting to a character who kicks the bucket at the start of Assassin's Creed 3, and could be interpreted to hint at the potential for some fresh AC adventures to fill in gaps around the first half of the 18th century.

Review: Ratatan (Switch 2) - Patapon-Style Rhythm-Action Strategy Returns, With A Roguelite Twist

Ratamatazz. Released at the height of the rhythm-action boom and following the march of peripheral-based music games, Patapon was a visually unique treat. The result of a collaboration between game designer Hiroyuki Kotani and French artist Rolito Giuli, this curio had you control a tribe of tiny eyeball creatures by tapping out rhythms on face buttons. The original game and its sequel received a Switch release last year, and it was a perfect fit for the console, given the series' roots on Sony'...

Let's chase 'em off, Rex! Two more missiles arc toward a hapless enemy F2-A, droplets peppering my windshield as I skim past a glowering grey cloud, dulling the distant explosion.
