Valve have sometimes – if perhaps not often enough to call it a grand old tradition – massaged interest in their hardware by pairing the kit with a new game. For the Steam Deck it was Aperture Desk Job, and for 2019’s jammy sod of a VR headset, the Valve Index, it was Half-Life: Alyx, a full-length City 17 adventure that reviewer Graham (RPS in peace) called “a masterclass of first-person shooter design.” Still, people rarely want to take the same class twice, hence why padding-compacted eyebrow...

12 years ago today, Apple published a web page with one job: to make a U2 album go away. On September 9, 2014, at Apple's iPhone 6 event, Tim Cook revealed that "Songs of Innocence" would be given to every iTunes customer for nothing. The album was directly linked to accounts, and devices set to "download automatically" got it without asking. Complaints quickly followed, and on September 15, Apple was forced to respond with a one-click page that stripped the album from accounts. Users were given...

Defying gravity. We are back with our latest look at the UK charts, and after last week's excitement with all those newcomers, it's a slightly more familiar picture this time. The wonderful Switch 2 exclusive, Orbitals (which landed in third place in its debut week, let's not forget), has drifted down to 18th this time, likely having found the majority of its audience right from the jump. The other two previous podium holders, The Blood of the Dawnwalker and Onimusha: Way of the Sword, hold down...

I knew going into BlizzCon 2026 that we'd get some Diablo news, but I expected a Diablo 4 expansion introducing a new Baal storyline, not Diablo 5. It's a long way away, scheduled for a spring 2029 release, but that didn't stop Blizzard revealing enough information for us to build a picture of what the new action role-playing game will be like. O RLY? A new trademark from developer Neowiz has seemingly revealed the title for its upcoming Lies of P sequel. As reported by FRVR, a filing on the European Union Intellectual Property Office indicates that Neowiz's new game will be titled Wonders of O. The first entry's title was a clear nod to its Adventures of Pinocchio themes, and so this new title seems to line up with previous reports that the sequel will be loosely based upon The Wonderful Wizard of Oz from author L.
