Capcom Is Releasing Onimusha: Way Of The Sword On Switch 2 A Little Sooner Than Expected

Now arriving early September. Last month, Capcom announced it would be bringing the action-adventure title Onimusha: Way of the Sword to the Switch 2 this September. In an update today, it's been announced this launch date will now be slightly earlier. Instead of 25th September 2026, it's now arriving on all platforms (including the Switch 2) on 4th September 2026.

Apart from the release of the King Dedede & Tank Star amiibo today, Nintendo has now confirmed the date for the next release. As revealed on its official Japanese website, the Chef Kawasaki & Hop Star amiibo will arrive on 3rd September 2026. According to the translated description, the machine will feature movable thrusters.
