Nimble Wally Stretch Review: A Colorful Charger With a Retractable USB-C Cable

The Wally Stretch is available in 35W and 65W options, and it has an excellent design. It's a simple cube with prongs that fold down, a retractable USB-C cable, and an extra USB-C port. The 65W model that I tested is thicker than the comparable 70W Apple charger, but it's smaller in length and width. Nimble's charger is just about two inches all around, and i...

OpenAI Considering Legal Action Against Apple Over 'Strained' Siri Partnership

OpenAI is preparing to potentially take legal action against Apple due to a "strained" relationship with the iPhone maker, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. The two companies reached a partnership in 2024 that saw ChatGPT integrated into features like Siri and Image Playground across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. iPhone users can also subscribe to ChatGPT directly via the Settings app, with Apple taking a cut of revenue. Ultimately, though, the report said OpenAI expected ChatGPT to be more deeply...

More gorgeous laser puzzles await you in The Talos Principle 3, the "final chapter" in the series

"What differentiates a story from the real world, or a simulation?" ask developer Croteam in a very Baudrillardy way in their announcement post for The Talos Principle 3. "The real world goes on and on, but a story must have a clear beginning, middle, and end. And so the Talos Principle, a story we have worked on for more than a decade, must also come to an end." Sad! But they're right, all things must end.

Review: STARBITES (Switch) - A Basic, Technically Deficient Mech RPG

Bitter and bland. Take a glance at the Switch’s selection of mech titles, from Daemon X Machina to Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, and you’re likely to notice a pattern. Aside from the occasional outlier like the tactical Front Mission remakes, action-based gameplay is almost always at the forefront when mechs are involved. It’s easy to see why — those ever-alluring visuals of awesome-looking robots flying around and duking it out serve as the perfect foundation to craft weighty, tac...

"We will probably get some flack": Subnautica 2 may feel polished for an early access game, but it was important for the team it launched unfinished

It's been more than a decade since the original Subnautica dove into early access. The deep sea survival game spent four years there as developer Unknown Worlds Entertainment added new features, biomes, and polished the whole thing up with the game's players. It may be difficult to remember just how incomplete it was in 2014. As Subnautica 2 releases into early access today, its developers are very aware that players may be expecting a game much closer to completion than they'll get their diver'...
