"We're not doing zombie animals", says State of Decay 3 studio head, but you can turn a tea kettle into an undead-attracting bomb

If you have been keeping a candle lit for State Of Decay 3 since its 2020 reveal trailer purely for the prospect of fighting a zombie deer then, I'm afraid, it's time to blow that candle out. Apparently, the CGI reveal trailer was made when the open-world zombie survival game was barely a concept. Six years on from the reveal, Undead Labs have a working build of the game and it doesn't feature the reanimated corpse of Bambi. Though it does let you turn a kettle into an IED.

Quantic Dream's cinematic Star Wars game Eclipse is reportedly still "years off from completion"

It's been over four years since Quantic Dream's Star Wars Eclipse was announced with a striking CGI trailer, which told us very little other than it was set in the High Republic era of George Lucas' galaxy far, far away. But following a handful of updates from the studio's leads over the years, the solidity of the game is increasingly in question.

Artemis II astronaut puts all of our iPhone moon photos to shame

When NASA allowed Artemis II astronauts to take their smartphones with them, we already knew it could lead to some epic phone shots of the moon. NASA astronaut Reid Wiseman took one such photo on his iPhone, just as the Orion spacecraft his crew was on approached the moon for a lunar flyby. The astronauts turned off all the lights inside the cabin to be able to take better pictures. In the livestream, Wiseman showed the camera a photo he took on his iPhone 17 Pro. As 9to5Mac notes, he said on th...
