"It is meant to be lived in" - grand strategy game Riftborne offers "months" of galactic scheming and no actual graphics

Some people like to ease into the week, as though dipping toes into a frigid northern sea, and some people Monday Hard by wrapping their arms around an iceberg. Are you the latter kind of bather? Try this on for size, then: Riftborne is a real-time sci-fi grand strategy game that's controlled using an old-fashioned, "terminal-style" interface. Seize your silly computer mouse and feed it unto the dog. Where you're going, there shall be no drag-selects, cursor animations, right-click menus, and al...

Crimson Desert's latest patch adds new mounts, makes slapping NPCs with trees a crime, and reportedly junks the infamous AI paintings

Pearl Abyss' bashing of their massive open-world into a more palatable shape continues, with Crimson Desert's latest patch packing a bunch more tweaks to controls and adding some new animals to ride around on. UK Charts: Mario Wonder Storms Into The Top Ten Following Switch 2 Release

Wonderful! The latest UK Charts data is here, and it's mostly a bit of a wet lettuce this week, with EA SPORTS FC 26 taking the lead once again. However, the launch of Super Mario Bros. Wonder on the Switch 2 has helped the game storm back into the top ten to land at number 8. Quite a feat considering it was at number 29 last week. Switch 2 garnered 63% of the platform split, with Switch 1 making up the remaining 37%.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades, the mobile RPG you probably forgot about long ago, has been delisted and will stop working this summer

Even if The Elder Scrolls 6 is still (potentially) years away, Bethesda has kept fans busy with countless Skyrim remasters/ports and TESO's yearly Chapters and many seasonal updates. In the background, mobile-oriented spinoff The Elder Scrolls: Blades was also trucking along with a small community. But, alas, that little journey is now coming to an end.
