When I heard that the co-founder of IO Interactive, the creator of the brilliant Hitman series, has opened up a new studio full of developers that have worked on the likes of Tomb Raider and Just Cause, I thought that we’d maybe get a cinematic action title or a stealthy shooter. I didn’t expect its debut game to be Raiders of Blackveil, a roguelite, loot-chasing co-op game that offers MOBA levels of buildcrafting.
