Don't expect a game card. Switch 2 is giving developers another way to distribute their games physically, but this might not necessarily rule out the end of "code-in-a-box" releases. As highlighted on social media, a Split Fiction physical release for Switch 2 has popped up on sites like Best Buy, and attached to the EA and Hazelight game is a notice about it being a full game download, with no game card included.

No game-key card releases here. If you're planning on getting a third-party physical title for Switch 2, one thing you might want to check first is if it's a regular game card or a game-key card. Google uses AI overviews fo...

The cozy, rural life sim formula that the likes of Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley have mastered continues to be the foundation for a steady stream of new games. All trying to tap into a more relaxing reality where fishing, farming, and flirting with your neighbors is all you have to worry about, they remain hugely popular. AI company Perplexity announced in February that it was building its own browser called Comet. In a recent interview with the TBPN podcast, CEO Aravind Srinivas gave some insight as to why the business appeared to be branching out from its artificial intelligence focus: It's to collect user data and sell them targeted advertisements. "That’s kind of one of the other reasons we wanted to build a browser, is we want to get data even outside the app to better understand you," he said. “We plan to u...
