Say yes. Rumours of an Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remaster have been swirling for a while now, culminating in what might be one of the worst-kept secrets of 2025 so far. According to Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb, the game will supposedly release during the week commencing 21st April 2025 and is set to grace the PS5, Xbox Series X\S, and PC. A more recent leak has pretty much confirmed the existence of the game, with several screenshots found within developer Virtuos' official website. It showcases a ...

Last month, "Mark Corrigan's Oblivion" Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 got a free barber mode update, and now with yesterday's release of Patch 1.2.4, you can finally have those RPG barbers shave Henry of Skalitz boiled butter bean bald. Did baldness signify nail-hard bastardry in medieval times, or simply some kind of maledicted scalp leprosy? Hopefully it's the former. Henry'll need to look tough to survive the new Hardcore mode.

Here's what you can expect. Switch 2 was promoted as having backwards compatibility with existing Switch titles, but as we now know, not every game works properly on Nintendo's new hardware. No one gets left behind. EA's just confirmed the price of Split Fiction for Switch 2 and one other small but rather interesting detail has now been highlighted on social media about its use of the new GameShare feature. Not only will Switch 2 players be able to invite a player on the same platform to join them via wireless connection, but this "other player" can also apparently be a Switch owner. As a reminder, Split Fiction has only been announced for the Switch 2.

Here's how they hold up. The Switch 2 will replace the Switch's physical rail system with a magnetic connection where the Joy-Con 2 "snap" into place. Nintendo has already stated how it wanted this new design to attach the controllers "firmly" to avoid any "wobble" - so just how strong are these magnets? The folks at IGN recently put it to the test and as you can see in the video below, they seem to be pretty strong:

According to an SEC filing from NVIDIA, the US government now requires companies to obtain a license to export H20 integrated circuits and any other products that achieve the same performance benchmarks. The filing states that "the license requirement addresses the risk that the covered products may be used in, or diverted to, a supercomputer in China." Could this finally be the year where a new extraction shooter actually sticks the landing and challenges the persisting forces of the genre like Escape From Tarkov and Hunt Showdown? We now know that Bungie’s slick-looking Marathon is going to drop this year, and so too is the other upcoming FPS that I think could give Tarkov and co. a run for their money - Arc Raiders. They’re probably going to lock horns at similar times, but even now, they’re doing battle. With Marathon’s closed alpha getting...

I feel like all I've been seeing the past few days is people asking if Marathon will be the game that finally brings extraction shooters into the mainstream. No one seems to be quite sure, mostly because it isn't done or out yet. The thing is, it's not the only extraction shooter due out this year that'll put that question to the test, as Arc Raiders is one the way still too. It comes from former Battlefield devs after all, who have found success with their other shooter, The Finals. And earlier...
