Apple is reportedly working on two new versions of the Vision Pro

Apple hasn’t abandoned its previously rumored plans to release a less expensive Vision Pro, according to Bloomberg. Mark Gurman reports in the Power On newsletter this weekend that the company has two new models in development: one that’s lighter and cheaper than the first generation headset, and one that would tether to a Mac. While Apple had once considered the latter setup for AR glasses, it shifted the idea over to the Vision Pro so it can “create an ultra-low-latency system for streaming a ...

Revamped and improved Payday rival Crime Boss Rockay City is just $2 right now

If even Payday 3 struggled against the co-op heist might of Payday 2, Crime Boss: Rockay City had a Sisyphean task ahead of it. Originally launching in 2023 before coming to Steam a year later, it was marred by bugs, balance problems, and a perceived lack of content from the playerbase. Since then, however, Crime Boss: Rockay City has been steadily improving, and while it still might not be for everyone, it’s enjoying quite the resurgence right now. If you want to try it, you can currently nab t...

Heart of the Machine is one of the most creative new games of 2025, and it just got a lot more approachable. A blend of 4X strategy game and city builder with a little splash of XCOM, all set in a dystopian cyberpunk future where you play a recently awakened sentient AI, it absolutely nails its vibe. However, with so much going on it can feel a little overwhelming to wrap your head around exactly what needs doing at any given moment. Before the Marathon alpha, grab the original FPS trilogy on Steam for free

Bungie’s Marathon isn’t actually a new IP. Before the Halo and Destiny maker invented some of the biggest FPS games we know today, it took another swing at the sci-fi genre. Competing with the likes of Doom and Quake, the original Marathon is a piece of ‘90s videogame history that you need to play. With the new, extraction version of the series coming soon, and a Marathon alpha not far away, you can easily do just that.

The best Metroidvania since Hollow Knight came from the least likely developer

Nine Sols shouldn’t exist. It’s the work of Red Candle, a small Taiwanese studio that had previously made just two story-driven horror games, one of which was banned from sale for two years due to political controversy. Most studios would fold at that point; instead, Red Candle made a game in a genre it had no experience in, and somehow created the best combat Metroidvania since Hollow Knight. As we approach its first anniversary, I spoke to Shihwei (Vincent) Yang, Nine Sols’ producer and creati...

Slick shooter Echo Point Nova introduces a new shotgun that’ll make Doom quiver

What's the best videogame shotgun? I've always been partial to the Gears of War Gnasher and MW2 Model 1887 akimbo, but there's one weapon that stands tall above the rest: Doom's Super Shotgun. The double-barrel death machine is unmatched. It's loud, powerful, and truly unforgiving in a way many shotguns can only dream of. Well, one of my favorite modern FPS experiences just took a leaf out of Doom's book, and introduced a boomstick to rival the best. This is Echo Point Nova, and it's even on sal...

Mario Kart World was extremely close however, and at the time of writing this, is sitting at 41%. Both are excellent.
