Kingston is about to unleash the fastest gaming SSD ever, according to this leak

Not content to watch Samsung take all the glory, Kingston is reportedly working on a new drive that not only matches the Samsung 9100 Pro’s read speed, but beats its write speed, making it the fastest gaming SSD ever. According to a leak, the new Kingston Fury Renegade G5 can hit a sequential write speed of 14,000MB/s, which would make it the new king of this metric. The best gaming SSD title currently belongs to Samsung, at least if you prioritize raw performance above everything else. In our S...

Black Ops 6 Shattered Veil main quest speculation

How do you complete the Shattered Veil main quest in BO6? With the Sentinel Artifact securely secured, it’s time for the team to head over to an old mansion that sits secluded in the woods beyond Liberty Falls. There, they’ll meet up with S.A.M, the synthetic AI system based on Maxis, which could be the key to freeing her. Of course, it wouldn't be a Black Ops 6 Zombies experience if linking up with S.A.M was a simple job. BO6 Season 3 will have you explore a new Zombies map, Shattered Veil, whi...

Mario Kart World's Switch 2 Box Art Is Packed With Delightful Details

Just look at all those characters! After giving us a full trailer in today's Switch 2 Direct, Nintendo has now revealed the box art for Mario Kart World, and it's pretty darn delightful. The focus of this one is the racers. Mario takes centre stage, with a host of familiar faces spilling out behind him. Looking closely, it seems there will be a bunch of new characters hitting the track in this one, with a Goomba, Pokey, Biddybud, Mole and Penguin all spotted in their own karts on the cover.

Dustland Delivery is the greatest RPG you haven’t played, and it just got better

PCGamesN icon 145 days, 12 hours, 29 minutes ago by Ed Smith

Dustland Delivery is the greatest RPG you haven’t played, and it just got better

It costs just $8, but Dustland Delivery has the depth and complexity of a mainstream, studio-built RPG. You can see the inspirations. The vehicle and crew management feels like it comes from FTL: Faster Than Light, the washed-out, lawless, apocalyptic world is right out of classic Fallout, and the strategy elements and economy systems owe a lot to SimCity and Factorio. But Dustland Delivery stands on its own merits. One of PC’s true unappreciated gems, if you haven’t played it yet, there’s a gia...

Switch 2's magic C Button shows Nintendo is still in the business of doing things its own way

One thing's clear. The Switch 2 is launching into a very complex environment. Just a look at today's Nintendo Direct, or rather the comments scrolling on the side of the IGN feed over on YouTube. Someone wants a proper 3D Donkey Kong game. Someone else wants Waluigi in Smash. Someone wants Jet Set Radio - I promise that one was not me - someone else wants a full-blown sequel to Twilight Princess.

Roguelike sequel Enter the Gungeon 2 surprise announced, and it has a huge twist

There are few games I love more than Enter the Gungeon. It’s easily the roguelike I return to the most, and while Hades 2, Dead Cells, and Slay the Spire have all carved out special places in my heart, it’s the bullet-themed bonanza that I just can’t shake. Color me surprised to learn that Enter the Gungeon 2 isn’t just real, then, but it’s also making a pretty big change to the pixel art stylings of the original game.

Silksong, the long-awaited to sequel to 2017's Hollow Knight, will arrive later this year, according to a brief sizzle reel Nintendo shared during today's Switch 2 Direct. In fact, the snippet was so short you might have missed it if you blinked, and featured the same section of gameplay we first saw during the game's announcement trailer back in 2019.  Of course this being Silksong we're talking about, I wouldn't count on the game's developer, Team Cherry, sticking to that date until we have th...
